LotInfo GIS is a Windows based, one-stop center for mapped information about New York City properties, programmed for GIS users.
LotInfo GIS functions as an extension to ESRI's ArcGIS™
or MapInfo Professional™, combining the analytic and imaging
power of GIS with LotInfo's functionality and data.
Clients may wish to purchase LotInfo GIS for use by trained
GIS staff, together with LotInfo Pro or LotInfo Lite for use
by non technical staff.
LotInfo GIS attaches lot level mapping of the City to financial,
ownership, zoning and physical information about each of the
980,000+ lots in the five boroughs,
and enables the user to:
Zoom the map to a lot by entering an address,
block-and-lot number, or street intersection.
Automatically select adjacent lots
Batch geocode files containing street addresses
Overlay US Census geography, zip code boundaries,
and NYC administrative and electoral district boundaries
Use the GIS to click on a lot and retrieve the associated
property information
Overlay subway lines and stations, and click on a station
to retrieve average weekday, Saturday and Sunday Station
ridership.
Combine these features with the full functionality of MapInfo
or ArcGIS software
LotInfo GIS can be delivered on disk for individual PC use,
or placed on a server or intranet for multiple users.
The LotInfo GIS base map is a lot level map of the city showing lot
boundaries, streets and street names, parks and park roadways,
highways and shore lines. Street address numbers are labeled at
the center points of lots.
US Census Boundaries, NYC Administrative Districts, Electoral
Districts and Zip codes can be overlaid on the lot level base map, and
turned on or off. District ct boundaries include:
| City administrative districts: |
Boroughs Community Districts School Districts Police Precincts Fire Companies Health Areas Health Center Districts
